Former Fanuc Engineers Launch Trinity Automation in 2004
In 2004 a team of engineers from Fanuc Robotics noticed a need for certified Fanuc automation integrators, & founded Trinity Robotics. Focussed on engineering, service, & sales, they quickly developed a reputation of integrity & quality, integrating robotic systems for major U.S. manufacturers such as General Mills, Callaway, Golden State Foods, UTC Aerospace, and 3M.

Selway Machine Tool Company Acquires Trinity in 2014
In 2014 Selway Machine Tool Company, the West Coast's largest CNC Distributer, was on a search to find a robotic integrator to assist in a turnkey project for a Tier 1 manufacturer. Realizing that bringing automation experts in-house would benefit all their customers, they acquired Trinity Automation, rounding out their offerings of CNC Equipment, Service, Applications, Workholing, Accessories, & Tooling.

CNC Legend, Bill Selway, the former President/Owner of Selway Machine Tool Co, was always looking to improve his customer processes. Already known for trailblazing the Horizontal & 5-Axis movement on the West Coast, he knew that Automation was the next step. Rather than chasing pick & place robot technology, Bill focused all Trinity's efforts to make an affordable, easy-to-use, Automated Pallet System that could be connected to existing CNC machines - the AX Series was born.
